Hey, y’all. If you’re following me like really following me, I’m sorry because I haven’t blogged in a long time. I just feel like Tumblr is more like scrapbooking than blogging so I made a blogger account instead. To literally, “true-to-form”-ly blog. Maybe I will keep my Tumblr. Or maybe not. Or maybe I will. LOL
Makes COMPLETE sense. LOL

Gerard Butler has a law degree, and was a week shy from practicing law when he decided that what would really make him happy is acting. So, he went to London, and started auditioning for roles.
It’s never too late to turn your life around in pursuit of happiness.
Today’s the second day of the new year. Go for it.
Habulin mo ang happiness mo!
Craigslist Sad of the Day: Dammit, Internet. I came here for cats wearing funny hats and you give me hair-tie tearjerkers? Thanks a lot.
I thought this was going to be one of those jokey craigslist posts. But alas, it is actually heartbreaking.
Awww. Y’all don’t have to make me cry like this on New Year’s eve. :(
OK. To put to rest the issue of white-washing in “Avatar: The Last Airbender” (and in Hollywood films in general), let it be finally said that HOLLYWOOD IS NOT READY FOR AN ALL-ASIAN CAST. And that is a fact.
* In 1935, Warner Oland played Charlie Chan in “Charlie Chan Goes to Shanghai”
* “The Good Earth” did not have a SINGLE Asian person in a lead role (1937)
* Jennifer Jones played Han Suyin in “Love is a Many Splendored Thing” in 1955
* John Wayne was Genghis Khan in “The Conqueror” back in 1956
* Tony Randall was Dr. Lao in “The 7 Faces of Dr. Lao” (1964)
* In 1972, David Carradine took the starring role in the series “Kung Fu” from Bruce Lee
* Linda Hunt even won an Oscar for her protrayal of Billy Kwan in “The Year of Living Dangerously”
* Peter Weller was Buckaroo Banzai in “The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai” (1984)
* In “21” (2008), a movie based on a true story involving Asian Americans, several Asian characters where changed to white
* Finally, in “Dragonball: Evolution” in 2009, most characters were rewritten as white
Not included in this list is a Disney movie that is still in development based on a comic called “Weapon” and that is set to be released on 2012. The main character is a Chinese American named Tommy Zhou but will be played by a white actor namesd David Hernie. Let me repeat: The character is a Chinese American named Tommy Zhou. His last name is Zhou. And they deliberately changed him to white.
In 2003, the Media Action Network for Asian Americans (MAANA) organized a protest against “Banzai” airing on FOX. MANAA, along with activists across the United States, successfully persuaded advertisers to pull their ads. Banzai was soon removed from the network because of their white casting and offensive portrayal of Asians.
BITCH, PLEASE. ASIAN AMERICANS HAVE BEEN FACED WITH THIS FOR THE LONGEST TIME SO DON’T TELL ME THAT HOLLYWOOD NOT BEING READY FOR AN ALL-ASIAN CAST IS NOT A FACT.
You cannot blame people for going haywire on the issue of casting because throughout history, Hollywood has always made Asians take the backseat. And there wouldn’t be such a controversy over the casting of white actors for the film version of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” (or a movement like MAANA) if this has not been happening since the 30’s.
All the aforementioned films were originally written, if not directly about Asia / Asians, with great inspiration from Asia. Just like Avatar: The Last Airbender. It was Nickolodeon that made it, yes. And it was not clearly stated that the characters were from Asia. Which might lead you to say that it’s just Asian-inspired so anyone can play the part.
This may be true but bear in mind that we have not yet evolved into the kind of species that do not care about race and, today, no one really asks just anyone to play a certain part (aside from Asian parts) without considering race because it will be weird. You are not just talking about characters in films like this. You are talking about an entire culture. A culture that is owned by a certain group of people.
Have you ever seen an African tribe played by a bunch of white people or Asians? No. Because it. is. weird. Their culture does not look right with white people or Asians.
Have you ever seen a bunch of kids in the ghetto played by a bunch of Asians or white kids? No. Because the material has been written for and is about black or Hispanic people.
THEREFORE, if it’s directly about Africans or even just inspired by Africans, black people should play it. If it’s directly about Asians or even just inspired by Asians, Asians should play it. So it does not matter if Nickolodeon made it or if it didn’t specifically state that they are Asians. Capisce?
Don’t go telling me that Angelina Jolie played a bi-racial / black woman in “A Mighty Heart” and it was not an issue. Because, as much as I agree that saying that a white woman can’t play the role of a bi-racial / black woman is no less racist than to say a black woman can’t play a white woman’s role, this is a separate issue. Black-to-white-to-black is a very different issue from yellow-to-white-to-yellow.
And don’t tell me that Japanese anime is all white people and, for things to be fair, people should also react to that. There is NOTHING to react to it because the very basic thing that you should get into your head is that WRITING IS DIFFERENT FROM PORTRAYING. Writing is creating and portraying is assuming.
The Japanese do not assume to be white. They just write about or create characters that are interesting. Their characters could have blonde hair and blue eyes, yes. But there are also those who have green or blue hair with red or yellow eyes. Thus, the blonde-haired blue-eyed ones may not exactly be white. SO YOU GO CHILL. BITCH.

Chris’s sister Katie told on him for hiding beer in his room. So what did he do? He went through her room, found a list of people whose genitals she wants to play with, and posted it on Facebook with all her friends tagged.
You have to hit the jump to see the actual thing (WARNING: possibly NSFW due to dirty words). Damn Chris, even as a guy whose done far worse to people, I’ve got to admit: that’s pretty harsh. Now melt her face off with a Looftlighter!

OOOH! SICK BURN!!! ROTFLMAO
This is a follow up on this post:
I also researched on the weaver fish because I noticed it has human teeth and OMFG it does! NASTY!!!
Check out the original post and you can actually see its front teeth. Super ew.
Kaya napaparasite ng isopod ang bibig nyan eh.
If you think you can take it, check this link for further reference.
I have a high threshold for anything disgusting but I’m sorry because I wasn’t even able to scroll down all the way. That isopod parasite thing made me move away from the screen cringing and shivering.

OK, fine. I sang it.
At least, I still know how the song goes.
"Weaver fish off the Jersey coast have fallen prey to a horrific parasite: an isopod that devours the fish’s tongue and then replaces it with itself. Fortunately, it doesn’t eat human tongues, though it will bite.”
Isn’t that just the most disgusting thing you have ever seen and heard?
